2017年，中(zhōng)國(guó)五礦和國(guó)際海底管理(lǐ)局簽署了為(wèi)期15年的多(duō)金屬結核勘探合同。作(zuò)為(wèi)擁有(yǒu)國(guó)際海底區(qū)域專屬勘探合同的首個中(zhōng)國(guó)企業，中(zhōng)國(guó)五礦獲得了東太平洋國(guó)際海底區(qū)域超過7萬平方公(gōng)裏多(duō)金屬結核資源勘探礦區(qū)的專屬勘探權和優先開采權。根據勘探合同和中(zhōng)國(guó)五礦第二個五年階段勘探工(gōng)作(zuò)計劃，中(zhōng)國(guó)五礦将于2025年在合同區(qū)A-5區(qū)塊開展采礦車(chē)單體(tǐ)試驗。

根據國(guó)際海底管理(lǐ)局和中(zhōng)國(guó)政府的管理(lǐ)要求，在國(guó)際海底區(qū)域合同區(qū)開展采礦設備海試前，承包者應完成對應試驗環境影響聲明報告的編制和審查，經中(zhōng)國(guó)海洋事務(wù)主管部門批準後提交國(guó)際海底管理(lǐ)局，并在承包者官網按要求公(gōng)開征求利益攸關方意見不少于1個月。

目前，中(zhōng)國(guó)五礦已完成采礦車(chē)單體(tǐ)試驗環境影響聲明報告（見附件），并獲得國(guó)内相關主管部門批準，現按相關規定和流程開展利益攸關方協商(shāng)公(gōng)告。公(gōng)告期自2024年4月2日起至2024年5月31日止。若有(yǒu)意見，請反饋至郵箱：cmc_eisconsult@163.com。

An announcement of stakeholder consultation on the environmental impact statement for the collector vehicle test in 2025 in the polymetallic nodule Contract Area of China Minmetals Corporation

In 2017, China Minmetals Corporation (Minmetals) signed a 15-year exploration contract for polymetallic nodule with the International Seabed Authority. In accordance with the exploration contract, Minmetals plans to carry out a test of a collector vehicle in Block A-5 of the contract area in 2025. Following the regulatory requirements of the International Seabed Authority, the contractor should complete an environmental impact statement for this collector vehicle test.

At present, Minmetals has completed the environmental impact statement for this testing of polymetallic nodule collector vehicle (see the Annex at the end of this page, with a Chinese version and an English version), is now conducting the stakeholder consultation announcement in accordance with the relevant regulations and processes.
